This year Tommy Guerrero was inducted into the Skateboard Hall of Fame. Our friends at Deluxe Distribution & Real put together an edit of TG in honor of the occasion.
This was the 7th Annual Skateboarding Hall of Fame and Icon Awards Ceremony- presented by Vans and held at the City National Grove of Anaheim, California on May 13, 2016.

Selection for the Skateboarding Hall of Fame isn’t wholly determined by seasons, contest results or stats. Above all else, innovation, influence and creativity are honored as the drivers at the heart of the constant evolution of skateboarding.
Tommy Guerrero (TG)
An American professional skateboarder, company owner, and musician. Tommy Guerrero may be better known in the world of skateboarding than music.
Originally from San Francisco, Calif., TG is one of the pioneers of street skating, credited as being the first professional skateboarder sponsored for riding street. Guerrero joined the skate company Powell Peralta in 1984 and became one of the original members of the legendary "Bones Brigade" team. Appeared in Powell-Peralta's Future Primitive (1985), The Search for Animal Chin (1987), Axe Rated (1988), Public Domain (1988), and Ban This (1989). Guerrero was also featured in the Bones Brigade: An Autobiography (2012) documentary. At the 2013 15th Annual Transworld SKATEboarding Awards, Guerrero was the recipient of the "Legend" award.
In 1991, Tommy, along with Jim Thiebaud, founded Real Skateboards, and was featured in Real's The Real Video(1993), Non-Fiction (1997), and Kicked Out Of Everywhere (1999). Tommy currently still helps with art at Real's parent company, Deluxe Distribution.
