RM Quote:

"I fell in love with skateboarding because it was individual; there were no teams, there were no captains, there was nothing to perfect. No style that had to be measured. It was completely opposite of what I saw in so many sports. It was creative. And to this day, that's what I love, that's always kept me back to it because it's endless creation.

FYI: Rodney Mullen has ever only lost one freestyle contest. He has been inducted into the Skateboard Hall of Fame and been featured in the Sun-dance acclaimed documentary, Bones Brigade, An Autobiography.

Rodney is widely considered the most influential street-skater in the history of the sport. Mullen has invented a massive list of tricks, including the Flat-ground Ollie, Kick-flip, Heel-flip, Impossible and 360-flip. He also co-founded World Industries, the largest skate company in the 90’s, which eventually was acquired by Globe Shoes.
