During the last few days of 2015, a bus of 14 girl skaters from across the globe set out on a journey- The Girl Skate India Tour that stretched over a span of 15 days. They visited 4 different cities and 8 different skate spots. It was an initiative by Girl Skate India Founder, Atita Verghese to kick start a female skateboarding culture in India.
The route was Kovalam- Bangalore- Goa- Hampi.

Kovalam – SISP Skate Club - A girls day with demo skate session followed by workshops.
Bangalore – Play Arena Skate Park - Roni Tal conducting a skate yoga workshop for the participants on the first day.

New Year’s Eve celebration with a build of a new ramp from scratch. It's called Kali’s Ramp, an extension to the already existing, half-finished park, The Cave in Bangalore.

The tour bus proceeded to skate the Jungle Bowl, The Alis bowl and Cirrus in Goa.
The Active8 team sponsored skateboarding equipment for the tour which was given out to the local Bangalore based top 2 grommet girls - Rivka and Tanvi. Based on their progress and dedication as skateboarders, Tanvi won the Birdhouse set up and Rivka took home the Santa Cruz deck.
