Skateboarding Phenomenon Dylan Rieder,passed away at age 28.
Known for his effortless and graceful style, strength and memorable video appearances, Rieder influenced a generation of skateboarders. He grew up in Westminster, California & began skating close to age 9. By the time he turned 18 he went pro for Alien Workshop, later going on to Fucking Awesome. There are countless excellent representations of his skills, including his breakout part in 2006's Transworld Skateboarding's A Time to Shine, 2009's Mind Field and in 2010's solo part for Gravis Footwear, entitled 'Dylan' cemented him as an industry golden boy.

Rieder was renowned for his inimitable style both on and off the board. The Most Handsome Man in Skateboarding won TRANSWORLD SKATEboarding’s award for Best Part in Supreme’s ‘cherry.‘ just last year. He was also a model, first featuring in 2014's DKNY's ad campaign.
With his enormously influential style, Rieder was one of the most respected skaters of any era. According to a press release, he died of complications related to leukemia. But the young skateboarder will not be forgotten soon, if the outpouring of love he has received from friends and fans on social media since news of his death is any indication.
